"Framing" was a locally published comics anthology spanning 2 volumes. I was creative director, manager and editor for this project and also a comic creator for it.My duties spanned from creating the entire book layout, pre-press duties, ensuring all media and marketing was print ready and managing marketing material and well as creating marketing material and illustrations.I also constantly ensured proper communication with the artists and made sure all deadlines were met on time and made provisions in case they weren't, and created management and tracking tables to ensure the team on the project could understand the projects progress at a glance.
Tales Of The Endless Aisle
A horror comic anthology
"Tales of the Endless Aisle" is an independent horror comic anthology I am responsible for. These are images of the first phase of its marketing, a horror comic that establishes the tone of the project and a keychain relating to the story. It advertises the comics by other creators that will be available in the full book.The goal is to get the word out there and begin to enter the zeitgeist, finding our audience amongst older alternative story enthusiasts by prompting news letter sign-ups and social media following.
Figment
A Wayl spinoff
"Wayl" is a 16+ comic series by Zaid Adham and Yasser Alireza, considered to be the the UAE's first English superhero comic book. I was commissioned to draw a few comics for its spinoff series, "Figment". These were brief glimpses into the psyche and working of characters from the "Wayl" universe.
